Meet William Gintoft | Newborn Session, November 2015 | Wauwatosa, Wisconsin

"Walk with me and hold my little hand, Mommy and Daddy.  I have so many things to learn that I don't yet understand.  Teach me things to keep me safe from dangers ever day.  Show me how to do my best at home, at school and at play.  Every child needs a gentle hand to guide them as they grow.  So walk alongside me, Mommy and Daddy.  We have a LONG way to go." by J.H.

Moving boxes, a new home and now a new baby?  That's a lot of AWESOME life changes.  Congratulations to Amanda and Ryan Gintoft on your handsome and healthy new William Gintoft as well as your new home.  William Gintoft is just as precious as can be.  The both of you are already such amazing parents.  With Indie the dog and Gus the cat to help you out, you have a full house.  With love, newborn babies, Indie and Gus Gus, that sounds like a place I could call HOME. Newborn babies change so fast and I'm so honored I was able to capture these precious moments of William's one week and a half of life.  Hee-hee.  He is so cute!  Enjoy him...and your sneaks peaks...  J

Cheers to the Lehmans! | Fall 2015 | Glacier Hills Park, Wisconsin

We meet on Mommy Meetup, we had our first mommy date at Su Casa Mexican restaurant, our husband's became buddies and handsome Tristan plays so nicely with my kids, they have costume parades throughout our houses and go trick or treating together...we love the Lehmans!  Brian and Ella met back in Santa Monica, California.  Their love flourished to Ohio and now to Wisconsin.

Our common background we both met our husbands in California, Ella and I are both "Cali Gurls" (ode to Katy Perry).  Although I was raised in the downtown, suburbian entertainment capital of Burbank, Ella was raised in the real bohemian, artsy and ritzy, laid back vibe of Topanga Canyon located by Malibu beach and Pacific Palisade.   We are both born and raised Californian girls, trying to figure how to thrive in the Midwest of Wisconsin.  My life with Ella and the Lehman crowd make my Wisconsin roots deeper and more "rooted", and I am thankful every day that I know the Lehmans!

Ella!  I love you to bits and pieces...Cheers to my one of my best friends and I hope you enjoy your sneak peak of your Fall 2015 Family Session...

Dave + Kari | Fall Engagement Session | Ridge Run Park, Wisconsin

What do you call when a big, tough biker dude meets a hot and sassy lady?  You get a couple who is silly and giggly, just like teenagers who can't keep their hands off each other.  These two did not have a problem following directions like, "grab each other", "slowly kiss", and "look deep into each others eyes".  The afternoon with Dave and Kari was so much fun and I can't wait until their wedding in 2016!  Enjoy your sneak peaks...

Pedersen Family | Fall Family Session | Germantown, Wisconsin

Meet the Pedersen Family.  I'm so thankful that Paul, Christy, Grace, Lydia and Ella went along with the crazy idea of doing the girls portraits at the laundry mat.  That was a blast and it was my dream come true!  The girls sat in the dryers, pink poofy skirts, rugged boots and sparkle-ies, all aglow.  Next, the girls hit me with their teen Vogue poses.  Oh-la-la, so fancy!  It turned out so awesome!  Finally, we headed to the park for a Fall Family Session.  The fall colors were amazing, so was my morning, spent with the Pedersen family.  Thank you for a glorious morning!  Enjoy your sneak peaks...

Joel + Heather Bauman | Historic Downtown MKE Wedding | Milwaukee, Wisconsin

I am my beloved and my beloved is mine.
— Song of Solomon 6:3

Joel and Heather met.  They fell in love.  They got engaged.  Less than a year later, these two young and beautiful souls were married in the presence of their beloved family, friends and in the sight of the Lord.  Heather wore an absolutely gorgeous vintage-looking fitted wedding dress and veil.  Classic and retro was the theme.  The two were married in downtown Milwaukee.  The ceremony took place at the historic Brew City Church with the reception at the historic Hotel Metro.  The morning started out with a little bit of rain, which we all know is good luck, but the day turned out to be a beautiful, cool, crisp, windy Fall day. Joel and Heather share a deep love for the Lord and now each other.  It was truly an honor to capture their wedding day celebration.  Congratulations Joel & Heather.

Paul + Carla | Engagement Session | Hubertus, Wisconsin

Be silly and laugh every day, be thoughtful and generous, kiss each other good night, learn from each other, fall in love and grow old together.  Carla and Paul are silly, serious and so in love.  You can tell by the way they look at each other.  At times, the looks between the two of them, were so intimate, so hot, I had to stop and peak out from behind my camera to make sure the lens wasn't fogging up.  I can't wait for your upcoming wedding in 2016.  Enjoy your sneak peak...

Joe + Mellissa Grippe | Fall Wedding | Cedarburg, Wisconsin

Dance & play a little.  Share a flirty glance.  Be silly, laugh big & kiss a little, or ALOT.  That's how I describe the love shared between Joe & Mellissa. I met this happy couple in the beginning of 2015.  Their engagement session took place during the melting snow.  The family portrait session with fur baby, Mona, was in Spring.  Finally, Fall!  Glorious red, orange, yellow colors.  Cool, crisp winds and love is in the air.  Joe and Mellissa's shared their wedding day with friends and family at The Hub, in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.  The venue is all encompassing with rustic charm and special touches such as a wooden gazebo & crossing bridge gracing the gardens next to the bubbling brook.  Mellissa wore a stunning white strapless wedding dressed adorned touches of beads and traditional items with something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.  It was Joe's job to find them all...lol.  Both set of parents were beaming with pride and happiness.  Mellissa's mom and dad's joyful tears pulled at my heart strings.  Joe's mom and dad cracked me up with their charm and funny jokes.  Watching Joe dance with his mom, that my friend was awesome!  The cake and frosting were made from scratch. All the creative decorative details and touches throughout the ceremony and reception site held a lot of meaning for the couple.  The love and support felt for Joe and Mellissa was amazing!  And for Mellissa..."Ball? Ball? Ball? Ball? lol. So what would Mona would say, right?  Such an honor to capture the story of your engagement and an even bigger honor capturing your wedding day.  Congratulations you two, I hope you enjoy this sneak peak of your day.

Brian + Jill | Engagement Portraits | Holy Hill, Wisconsin

A couple that plays together, stays together.  After spending a warm and gorgeous Fall afternoon with Brian and Jill, that is what I believe! High school sweethearts now "enfianced".  Brian and Jill  throw flirty gazes upon each other all day long.  Be it over a reflected pond covered with fallen leaves, coming across one of the biggest and gentle dogs I've ever seen, the holiness of Holy Hill Basilica Church, the glory of a Wisconsin "Fall-scape" (like that made up word?) or at one of the many AWESOME apple stands in our area, these two know how to play and don't take each other for granted. I can't wait until your wedding in July 2016!

Jamie + Joe's Wedding | Divine Mercy Parish & Grant Park, South Milwaukee

Jamie & Joe have one of those quintessential love stories.  Friends and acquaintances set them up.  He saw her, she saw him and Wham! Instantly, they fell in love.  They bought a house, got engaged, four months later, we are having a wedding.  The bridal party's bouquets and boutonnieres were handmade from the bride's own gorgeous and bountiful flower gardens.  Besides her gorgeous dress, the bride wore an ID bracelet with the bride and groom's initials on it.  The wedding bus captured the wedding party and led them to Grant Park for portraits on the beach.  It was clear blue skies, warm and a beautiful day for portraits.  The wedding reception was held at Jamie & Joe's backyard decorated with white tents, twinkl-ie lights, mason jar and rope chandeliers, garden flowers in tall glass jars, handmade pompom tied together with rope, a dessert table to make Martha Stewart jealous, chicken coops, homemade man-garage bar, chalkboard signs and delicate, sweet touches of decor and thoughtfulness for their wedding guest.  Jamie & Joe's wedding day perfectly reflected this couple's style.  Some adjective's I would use to describe them is comfortable and relaxed with a palate of refinement and very "on the ball"on whatever they set their sights on doing.  They are go-getters, very talented and skilled.  Their life is filled with love for each other and with five bridesmaids, five groomsmen, two ushers, three flower girls, two ring bearers and a load of other other friends and family members, this couple will never run out of love and support.  Congratulations Jamie & Joe!   It was one of the sweetest and memorable weddings I've been too!  Enjoy your sneak peak from your Saturday's wedding.
