Wedding: Welcome to the Berk + Jay Show! Country Springs Banquet Hotel, Peawaukee, Wisconsin

The wedding ceremony was held in rays of sunshine and Jayson’s eyes and smile light up the garden as he got his first look of his bride, Berklee, walking down the path towards him, arm in arm with her parents.  After the very sweet wedding ceremony, the newlyweds greeted their guest right and then enjoyed their first cake cutting ceremony followed by their first dance as husband and wife.  With Jayson’s fabulous dance moves and Berklee’s glowing smile, this marriage is sure to be led with much love, adoration, fun, laughter and adventure ahead of them.

I arrived at Country Springs Banquet & Hotel in Peawaukee, Wisconsin to find Berklee wearing her white robe with “Bride” bedazzled on the back.  Her hair was perfectly coiffed with a large vintage broach on one side of her head.  Her make up was flawless, highlighting her beautiful bone structure, glamorous eyes and smiling lips.  The large conference room was a haven, buzzing with ten bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done.  Hair spray, nail polish bottles, makeup and phone chargers were found at every corner of the room.  Jayson, together with his brother and nine other best friends, got ready in the hotel room.  It was one big “Jay-Soromance” fest.  “Brothers from another mother” is how I can describe the deep love and affection this lively group had for one another.  Berklee wore a lace covered golden blush wedding gown with a very traditional lace trimmed veil.  Her necklace, earrings and bracelet were handmade from family heirloom beads and hand picked sand dollars from a previous trip to the beach.  Jayson donned a black tuxedo with a lavender bow tie, vest and pocket square.  The bride and groom were dressed and anxious to finally see each other.  The outdoors gazebo and white lawn chairs received a light wash of rain before the wedding ceremony and the AMAZING staff at Country Springs Hotel came right out to wipe down each chair for the wedding guests.  Finally, the wedding ceremony was held in rays of sunshine and Jayson’s eyes and smile light up the garden as he got his first look of his bride, Berklee, walking down the path towards him, arm in arm with her parents. I wish Jayson and Berklee much happiness in their life together!  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Jayson Krause and thank you for giving me the honor of capturing your wedding day moments. Enjoy your Sneak Peak! XO – Jenna, Tiffany Blue Photography, LLC.

Wedding: Dave + Tiffany Maryanov

The blue sky and warm weather sparkled against Tiffany's wedding gown.  I could tell in Dave's eyes when he saw his bride to be, he was anxious and excited to marry Tiffany at that very moment. But Dave had to wait for the wedding guest before he could proclaim his eternal love for Tiffany.

I have learned that only two things are necessary to keep one’s wife happy. First, let her think she’s having her own way. And second, let her have it.
— Lyndon B. Johnson

July 1, 2016 was one of the most perfect days I've spent in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Tiffany and Dave prepared for their wedding day at the beautiful and historic Pfister Hotel.  The amazing architecture was the perfect punctuation mark for the day and the warm ambiance and soft tunes coming from the grand piano set the mood for what was about to come.  I met Dave, Tiffany and their children, for a lovely afternoon walk to the Milwaukee Art Museum for some family portraits. Dave and Tiffany had an intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends at the very modern and amazing venue called The Garden.  The atmosphere at The Garden felt as if we were inside a beautifully constructed modern nest.  White wood was bound together in random formations.  White chairs were lined with candles inside silver Morrocoan lanterns.  A wedding cake and cupcakes were front and center.  The marble bar top complimented the wedding cake and cupcakes in such an elegant way, helping to set the mood for a warm and loving atmosphere. This day could not have been spent in a more perfect way and I'm honored to have been able to capture Dave & Tiffany's wedding day moments.

Wedding: Brian + Jill, Silver Springs Country Club, Wisconsin

Chance of rain?  Yup, you betcha!  One hundred percent, mixed in with humidity so thick you cut cut with a knife, in addition to thunder and lightening that would make your house shake. However, the inside the white tented rooftop deck at  Silver Springs Country Club offered a light and airy ambience with white chairs and a rustic wooden gazebo alter set up for the wedding ceremony Brian & Jill had planned and dreamed about.

Chance of rain?  Yup, you betcha, one hundred percent!  Mixed with humidity so thick you could cut it with a knife. Add to that concoction, thunder and lightening so loud it could make a home come tumbling down.

However, inside the white tented rooftop deck at  Silver Springs Country Club, the scene offered a light and airy ambience with white chairs and a rustic wooden gazebo alter set up for the wedding ceremony Brian and Jill had planned and dreamed about. With the tented windows drawn back exposing the beautiful greenery of the amazing golf course, the view of Brian and Jill, along with the fourteen bridal party members, at the alter with was breathtaking and so romantic.  The historic silo and beautiful terraces offered up the best background for some unforgettable moments of the bride and groom.  Jill's white flowy wedding gown was elegantly designed with beading and her wedding day accessories included a pair of sapphire blue Kate Spade slingback heels with rhinestones designed in the shape of a bow.  Brian and Jill's reception was a full night dance party celebration.  Throughout the night, the couple danced and sang to the lyrics with each of their close friends and family.  The night ended in a large singing fest with guests forming a large hand held circle surrounding the newly wed couple.  Brian & Jill, your wedding day was amazing and was so unique, just like the two of you.  Amazing and unique. Thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding day moments and I hope you enjoy this sneak peak...  xo, Jenna!

Wedding: Tony + Jenna Balistreri

By following the "Yellow Brick Road", Tony & Jenna's first sunset together as husband and wife reflected a vibrant golden yellow and orange sky. They continued their first steps as man and wife, dancing the night away as friends and family watched on...

On Saturday, June 11, 2016, I knocked upon the hotel door where Jenna and her bridesmaids were getting prepped and pampered.  The hotel suite was spacious and beautiful, including a large dining table for hair and make-up, living room where the flower girls watched cartoons, and a kitchenette held sandwiches for everyone.  The room was buzzing with energy and last moments checklists were being called off.  Jenna and her peeps planned everything perfectly, down to the last detail.

Tony & Jenna shared special notes and gifts with each other before their wedding ceremony. Both expressed nervous smiles, excitement.  Jenna shed a few happy and anxious tears while reading Tony's notes.  With a Wizard of Oz theme, the wedding ceremony began by the bridal party following the yellow brick road down to a beautiful sand ceremony.  Tony and Jenna shared this day surrounded by many of their close family members, including great grandmothers who wear tiaras, as well as many close friends, all who love and support them both so much.  The reception site was decorated with so much attention to detail covering the Wizard of Oz movie with flying monkeys, ruby glass slipper table cards, cupcakes creating a path to Emerald City, Dorothy, Toto & their brood were every where you looked. By following the "Yellow Brick Road", Tony & Jenna's first sunset together as husband and wife reflected a vibrant golden yellow and orange sky. They continued their first steps as man and wife, dancing the night away as friends and family watched on... With so much love and support, Tony & Jenna, you two are on the right path to many amazing moments in your life.  May your rainbows be filled with love, light and happiness, always! Congratulations! XO- Jenna Foscato, Tiffany Blue Photography

Dad's are ordinary men, turned into HERO's

A Father's Day Weekend Thought: Daddy's Little Girl...

It's funny how little girls grow up to become brides.  It begins with complete dependence upon Daddy to help them survive (along with a lot of help from Mom).  They're sweet and curious, days are long, but years fly by too fast.  They loose a tooth and they're hair isn't brushed, yet THERE they lay.  Still on top of Daddy's belly with their head under Daddy's chin, watching the sports event Daddy is watching.  From infancy, they lay upon Daddy's belly, until their toes can reach Daddy's toes and they start growing long and lanky.  Daddy helps them with homework, stays awake at night to read them story books and asks them how their day went.  Daddy attends dances at school and takes them out for Daddy/Daughter Date night.  Daddy attends every Theatrical Play and every Tae Kwon Do event, Daddy even signs up to coach T-Ball for his little girl. The new school year begins and the seasons blow on.  They worry about fashion and friends, but still make time for Daddy. They leave home for college and make lunch dates with Dad. Until one day, a boy comes along.  With one quick SWOOP, Daddy's little girl is putting on a beautiful bridal dress, wearing making, hair all fancy and done, holding a bouquet of flowers in her hand. She is all grown up, within a blink of an eye, Daddy is walking his little Princess down the aisle to become someone's, WIFE.

As a Wisconsin Wedding Photographer AND as a parent, I wonder where did all the time go? Although my children are six and seven years old, I consider myself very lucky, blessed and incredibly GRATEFUL!  Every single day, I am with my children.  Teaching them about consequences and appropriate behavior, giving them the opportunities I never had, watching them develop their own identity, training them to think for for themselves, to become smart, responsible, loving, giving, talented and AMAZING people.

At EVERY wedding event I capture, I tear up and cry (TRUE STORY, you can ask my bride's, even now, I've cried twice while writing this thought).  It's all about the THOUGHT, behind the action, I'm capturing, at that VERY moment.  This is why I love my job as a Wedding Photographer.  It's the emotion I love to capture and help preserve one of the most important days of someone's life.  My job of telling their story and how people in their life, interact with them.  It is TRULY an honor to share in this event.

ONE DAY,  I'll look at my adult children and view them as if their two years old self, remember my time spent with them -- two hour nap time in the middle of the day, lots of walks to the park with our dog Bailey, three different double strollers, one for traveling, one for running and one for every day at the mall, the many classes at MY GYM or YMCA, the laughs, the cute silly things they do and say--that is truly a gift from GOD!  Amen.

I want to thank all the Father's in the world, for being present in their children's lives.  This day is to honor you in helping to create a love and bond that is so unique and so sweet, no mom, no man, no sweetheart can compare, to that of a Daddy and his Daughter or Son.  Good Daddy's give and they give of themselves and their time, all for the love and greatness of their children.

CHEERS Y'ALL. It's Girls Night OUT!

The Urban Dictionary defines the term BACHELORETTE as "...an unmarried woman, usually described an affianced woman having a night on the town with her friends soon before her wedding."  And that is exactly how Miss Jenna Marie planned to spend her last "Girls Night Out" on the town before her June 2016 Wedding

Mark + Aubrey Engagement

What’s in a smile?  A simple curl of the lips.  The beautiful bow in red, full, lusciousness can complete a man.  Make him feel whole.  What’s in a smile?  A simple and quiet smile from the man that you love can make a woman feel safe and secure.  Mark and Aubrey fell in love with just their first look at each other’s face.  The beauty of a couple lies deep within their souls and it cannot be taken for granted.  It’s looking into each other’s face and finding the home you have been searching for all your life that will make a man propose to the woman he loves.  Congratulations Mark and Aubrey on your upcoming wedding in 2016.  Your love is infectious and a beautiful sight to be around.

Dave + Kari | Fall Engagement Session | Ridge Run Park, Wisconsin

What do you call when a big, tough biker dude meets a hot and sassy lady?  You get a couple who is silly and giggly, just like teenagers who can't keep their hands off each other.  These two did not have a problem following directions like, "grab each other", "slowly kiss", and "look deep into each others eyes".  The afternoon with Dave and Kari was so much fun and I can't wait until their wedding in 2016!  Enjoy your sneak peaks...

Joel + Heather Bauman | Historic Downtown MKE Wedding | Milwaukee, Wisconsin

I am my beloved and my beloved is mine.
— Song of Solomon 6:3

Joel and Heather met.  They fell in love.  They got engaged.  Less than a year later, these two young and beautiful souls were married in the presence of their beloved family, friends and in the sight of the Lord.  Heather wore an absolutely gorgeous vintage-looking fitted wedding dress and veil.  Classic and retro was the theme.  The two were married in downtown Milwaukee.  The ceremony took place at the historic Brew City Church with the reception at the historic Hotel Metro.  The morning started out with a little bit of rain, which we all know is good luck, but the day turned out to be a beautiful, cool, crisp, windy Fall day. Joel and Heather share a deep love for the Lord and now each other.  It was truly an honor to capture their wedding day celebration.  Congratulations Joel & Heather.

Jamie + Joe's Wedding | Divine Mercy Parish & Grant Park, South Milwaukee

Jamie & Joe have one of those quintessential love stories.  Friends and acquaintances set them up.  He saw her, she saw him and Wham! Instantly, they fell in love.  They bought a house, got engaged, four months later, we are having a wedding.  The bridal party's bouquets and boutonnieres were handmade from the bride's own gorgeous and bountiful flower gardens.  Besides her gorgeous dress, the bride wore an ID bracelet with the bride and groom's initials on it.  The wedding bus captured the wedding party and led them to Grant Park for portraits on the beach.  It was clear blue skies, warm and a beautiful day for portraits.  The wedding reception was held at Jamie & Joe's backyard decorated with white tents, twinkl-ie lights, mason jar and rope chandeliers, garden flowers in tall glass jars, handmade pompom tied together with rope, a dessert table to make Martha Stewart jealous, chicken coops, homemade man-garage bar, chalkboard signs and delicate, sweet touches of decor and thoughtfulness for their wedding guest.  Jamie & Joe's wedding day perfectly reflected this couple's style.  Some adjective's I would use to describe them is comfortable and relaxed with a palate of refinement and very "on the ball"on whatever they set their sights on doing.  They are go-getters, very talented and skilled.  Their life is filled with love for each other and with five bridesmaids, five groomsmen, two ushers, three flower girls, two ring bearers and a load of other other friends and family members, this couple will never run out of love and support.  Congratulations Jamie & Joe!   It was one of the sweetest and memorable weddings I've been too!  Enjoy your sneak peak from your Saturday's wedding.
