What are Senior Portraits?

Senior portraits are about celebrating a life stage - for many teens, their entire senior year is filled with milestones, and it is definitely one worth noting and celebrating in many ways, including portraiture. It's their last year of high school, but so much more.  It is also typically their last year with the friends they grew up with, their last year at home (it will never be the same, even if they are twenty seven and living in your basement), and their last year of truly being under their parents wings.  Their senior year is about being on the cusp of something great - their futures, and they will never see the world the way they do right now.

Documenting that with professional photography is one way of ensuring that you never forget who they are. RIGHT now.

Today is the day, it's happening.

It's your wedding day.

Today you are going to become man and wife.

Her friends, his friends, her family, his family, all together, in one place, for one day.

It's overwhelming to look out and see your worlds collide into one.

I will be there to capture the emotions, the "blink-of-an-eye" moments.

Yes, we will have fun, we will dance, and you will get the moments on papers that will turn into your family heirloom.

These images are your time capsule.

This is the story of your life beginning as one.

This is the Tiffany Blue Photography experience.

My goal is to make you feel crazy-beautiful

in the skin you’re in,

one image at a time.

Are you ready to chat?

When I picked up a camera for the first time, I was a brand new Mommy, taking pictures of my brand new baby. I posed my beautiful brand new baby on top of a stack of white clean towels, set on top of my white bed spread, in front of my Burbank apartment window. I guess you could say I instantly fell in love with capturing the beauty of REAL + treasured moments.

Whether you’re getting ready to walk down the aisle or picking out outfits for a website photoshoot, I want you to feel relaxed and giddy over what’s to come. You deserve to feel confident and at ease in front of the camera, unafraid to be yourself. Don’t be nervous _ I’m here to guide you every step of the way! Promise!

Together,

we are going to

create

something

Styling Tips?  Be YOU & be COMFORTABLE and you will be AWESOME!

-       Wear bright colors that compliment your skin tone

-       Vary the shades you or your family wear AND incorporate a coordinated pattern

-       Add detail in accessories as well as embellishments in shirts and hair pieces.  It will add personality and detail to your images

-       Be comfortable in your clothes, they'll keep you relaxed and feeling yourself!

-       Steer away from solid matching colors, especially all black and all white. It will draw the attention away from YOU

-       Keep your shorts or skirts appropriate length. Skirts that are too short can be accidentally revealing

-       Patterns are great, but avoid overly bold patterns and stripes. Keep them simple and without too much contrast from dark to light

-       Keep your color natural. Anything too hot (lime green, bright fuchsia) will bounce unnatural color to your face

-       Avoid matching your clothes to your skin tone
